Engine: 1966 PMD (Pontiac Motor Division) OHC 230ci Sprint 6 engine, pulled from a 66 LeMans, 3 speed trans comes from the same car, rear from a 67 Impala if I recall correctly.

Little bit about the engine. 10.5:1 compression, Q-Jet carburetor, first mass produced American OHC engine! Designed by John DeLorean, yeah Mr. Gullwing Back to the Future stainless steel wonder. 207hp @ 5200 240ft/lb torque @ 3800

1.92" intake valves
1.6" exhaust valves
Redline: ??? 6,500 rpm best I can figure but not sure.

I have a big dream for this engine... yes forced induction. Got to get this thing derivable first. Chassis and cowel near as I can figure are 1930-1931. Sky's the limit here..well my wallet is, so rat rod. Got to get this front suspension straightened out and then start adding a floor, then disk breaks, steering, gauges, lights, exhaust (got side pipes for it).. then... burnouts?

Biggest thing now is figuring out what I need exactly for the disk break conversion, and figuring out where I'm going to put the fuel tank. Factor tank is rusty inside, besides that I don't want the fuel tank at chest height over my legs. :nono:

Wow, absolutely no love for an old car and a rare and historically significant engine huh.

I told my father if anything ever happens to the engine, I'll probably stick a 4G63 in it. I really hope nothing ever happens to that engine though.

Hey, I think it's pretty cool! Although, putting a 4G63 in it would be very unique....:hmm:
One time I saw a similar car to this one driving in the oncoming lane coming out of a grocery store. That thing had more engine then frame!
