I have looked through every part store and online for a camshaft sensor that goes on the valve cover to connect to the connector.

The teeth on most parts are too big and do not fit my OEM camshaft sensor wiring connector.

I posted a photo for reference of all the sensors that parts store's sell. The teeth are too big compared to my original sensor. I even tried the MOPAR brand and still same issue.

I got one on my car and theres a junkyard where I stay I could get you one off a 95 gs they just got brought in. I live in Baton Rouge La. the place is you pull it on greenwell springs rd. You might be able to have them pull it and ship it to you. I recently went and took a lot from this car but I did not take that sensor. So with luck it's still there.

95 and 96 420a's came with round pins. 97-99 came with the flat pins. Problem is all the aftermarket ones are only in the flat pin version.

You either need to find a used 95-96 sensor or get the 97-99 pigtail that has the flat pins like so:

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...ector,camshaft+position+sensor+connector,2540

You will run into the same with the crank position sensor, ignition coil and I believe the VSS as well.

Autozone Duralast ignition coil had round pins and fit on mine well.

The camshaft sensor they have though is like every other part store, flat pins.

It's strange they don't give us the pins we need and we are forced to solder wires.

You right I already had to splice both my ignition coil and at trans range sensor when I changed the 99 41TE to a 97 41TE.

They are all over eBay. Camero22 is a good seller and is knowledgeable about the parts. He has one forsale right now for a 95-96. Just message him and make sure it's round pins.

But yea... if you want to go new you are forced to solder the wires. Also I would stay away from autozone, etc for sensor parts. I always use Napa for sensors. A family friend is a long time mechanic (30+ years) and he swears by Napa. I have seen too many people report issues with other part store parts.

Not sure why the ignition coils you can get in round or flat pin but everything else is flat only.
I am just leaning to crawl man LOL but yea I had miss spoke I just had to look harder to find right part
