I've been on tein basics for 5 years now and have been thinking of upgrading to feal 441's. I don't dislike the tein basics, but I'm wondering how much better the car would handle bumpy back roads with the feal coilovers? anyone make a switch from a similar setup and notice much difference?

I had Tein Flex & switched to the DG Koni setup. Never knew how much better my car would ride until the switch, way, way better on handling the bumps. And the Teins are actual not really bad but they don't compare.

Anyone experienced with air ride? I like coilovers for simplicity but, hate going into steep driveways, speed bumps, etc.

I
Fortune Auto has a new air lift system for coilovers. Unfortunately it's unlikely to flow down to our application.
Think the air ride they offer is not car specific! From the video i watched at sema they said it can be installed to any system they sell, so it may just work ok for us, room is our issue though

I had Koni DA's on a WS6 I previously owned and they were great for the price. I have ridden in vehicle with cheap coilovers and I would rather have stock springs and SA Koni's over those anytime.

Actually tomorrow I'm getting a set of agx's with front eibach sportlines, and rear cheap ebay springs..

I'm currently looking at swift springs for the rear I just need to figure out what size and spring rate etc that I have to get since they have like 10 did sizes and like 15 dif options per size.

If anyone could help me with that I would really appreciate it, otherwise I'll just measure what's on the car and hope for the best..

I wish I could help but I've never had a setup like that unfortunately. Hopefully you enjoy it and it works out for you!

Never heard of them before, but their products do look top notch. Thanks for sharing!!!

@ec17pse Hey man saw you post about quantum coilovers. They look interesting at first glance. What lead you to considering these as an option?
Well firstly they are custom made and to my specs and every detail can be done to requirements, plus they are so knowledgeable they will literally work out perfectly what you need based on the details you give them! Plus they have already helped me in the past with questions aswel and thats helped alot! The chap used to do F1 setup and other major racing so he is very much in the know! But a little out of my price range at present LOL

Good to know! I always like finding new company's that offer products for our chassis.
Oh they dont offer anything for us! Thats why its custom as its made from scratch! They said they would take the project on but the cost was alot! Like £3500 pounds which is about $4500 dollars ish. But that is full racing 4way adjustable! So its not that bad i guess if you look at it that way

I run the Feals on my 1g with polyurethane bushings all around. I put them on full soft and have no complaints at all on harshness. I haven't even bothered turning up the stiffness yet.
