I know Bobby is doing rear UCA's, but I didn't see anything about a front UCA. If he is doing fronts, please link me to the thread.

Excuse my typo. I did mean front uppers. I have $1100 worth of material on order for them right now, and it should be here within a week. But I do still need to build a jig and I'll definitely be more focused on getting this group buy done before I get the prototype front UCA set done. But with material on hand, I'll be working pretty aggressively on the project when the time comes.

looking foreward to it! do you send out a sheet with instructions that include part numbers for ballljoints, sphericals and boots? Torque specs?

Hey guys, just a heads up; I'm going to let this GB run for one more week and I'll close it down on this morning of Monday the 13th. Shoot me a PM if you want to get in on this. 4 more spots open!

The list is closed and we have a final count of 18 sets. I have almost all of the materials in my shop right now. Just waiting on a few stragglers. I'm going to order the balljoints right now. I'll be welding LCA's up as soon as they arrive!

Awwww yeah!!! Can't wait.

Balljoints are ordered. They estimate 2-3 weeks for delivery. Let's hope they can hold to that timeline.

Still waiting on balljoints, unfortunately. They fell behind schedule in production. I have all of the rest of the materials here and ready to go though and I'm hoping the balljoints show up this week.

If someone can design an affordable bearing design for the inboard end that won't allow the arms to roll over and flop downward, I'd be interested in build aftermarket compression arms. The one and only design I've come up with would be very expensive and would need to be done on a CNC mill, which I don't have access to. I just can't think if a cheap/easy way to do it that I actually like.

http://www.speedwaymotors.com/1973-88-GM-Midsize-Rear-Control-Arm-Spherical-Bushing,9021.html with dog bone machined bushings? Solves the flopping problem I think.

edit - could use some c-clips by machining some c-clip grooves into the dog bone bushing so the bearing stays centered.

Update: The balljoints came in today. Standoffs are machined. Tubes are cut. I just need to finish the bearing cups and I'll start welding these up.

Also, only 17 sets are spoken for and I plan to build 20 sets. If anyone wants to get in on one of the remaining 3 sets, please PM me. First come, first serve.

Car is just about ready for summer.

Sorry for the delay, guys. I had a to finish a subframe build and it cut into my time for these.

All components are machined and ready (that's the time consuming part). The first half of the LCA's should be welded up this weekend and heading to the coater next week. The second half will be 1-2 weeks behind those.

Super late to this party, but HOT DAMN! Hats off to Paul for another killer product. I bought mine in the last group buy and finally found the time to install these and wow... These were installed along with paul's rear toe arms & new compression arms and the handling characteristics have completely changed on this car. This is how a dsm should handle! So for everyone waiting for these to be finished up, they're worth the wait. A+
