@donniekak @b00stedtalon2 @familyMAN I can't think of anyone else off had, add them.

What are you guys doing for a license at the shootout? Boosted and familyMAN I suspect you guys are good on tech for the ET you'll be running.

I think my car is good for 10.0@135, and I'm hoping to see some 9.90's at 140 this year. I know they are going to crack down on tech, any idea how severe?

I found a post on the shootout FB page, it looks like they are going by NHRA rules on the license, so I technically don't need it. I'm fine with having to get a license and it looks like we would need a class 6 type B. According to the rules, I can't even get one with my car.

I'm nowhere near good for tech. Actually thinking about scaling back my car turbo and running max effort. Car won't be competitive in drag anyway with the 800-1000lb penalty I have vs the drag dsms.

I can get my license about 2.5hrs away from me and have licensed witnesses available. But again, may skip it.

As far as tech, I think the biggest thing will be a diaper or catch pan. After that, not sure how severe. That will be 100% teched.

Tech wise, I won't have any issues. My car will be certified for 8.50's with a catch pan.

I have not looked into getting the license yet though. Dave Buschur said a while back about being able to acquire it at the Shootout. I'll need to reach out to see if that's true. Doesn't seem to make much sense though since it takes 2-3 weeks to process per http://promod.nhra.com/userfiles/file/Level6and7Sportsman.pdf
