Hey there. New guy from Mass here. Have been lurking around for a while and finally got around to making a profile. Have a '90 TSI that I bought about a year ago. She's far from perfect but I love her none the less. I did a little work to her over last summer but nothing major. I'm now trying to get it where I want it to be. Limited schedule until summer comes in 6 weeks but have been hoarding parts for a bit now. This is my first DSM and honestly my first time getting my hands dirty under the hood. I had a couple of Buicks before. One was s/c and the other a turbo. This car is a whole different beast!

I'm trying to do as much as I can myself because I like the feeling satisfaction I get doing the work myself and it can save me $ that I can put back into the car. I'm always interested in learning new stuff and this site has been an awesome tool for trouble shooting.

I would love to make this car dialed in where I want her and would also love to build a 1g auto car if I can ever get my hands on one!
