I just did struts on my talon. I replaced the upper insulators, top hats (mine were rusty), dust boots, bump stops, upper/lower bushings, and the struts themselves of course.

I used that kyb dust boot bump stop combo you linked in the rear, Moog rear upper insulators, and Prothane bushings. The front bump stops, dust boots, and insulators I got OEM. You can get a bushing kit from rock auto for cheap that will have the upper/lower bushings and the little metal sleeve they ride on. I bought them just for those sleeves. Can't comment on what to do for replacement springs, I just used eibachs.

It's a pretty straightforward job just putting them together yourself. If you are using factory height springs, you will need a spring compressor though.

If you want part numbers for anything I mentioned, I have them in my records.

If it's not to much trouble, that would be helpful.

I've read that the Sebring shares the same suspension as the eclipse.

With two differences, the spring rates are softer but the socks are stiffer too on the Sebring .

I wonder if they will bolt right in...

Alot of suspension parts are interchangeable, but the AWD has different spring rates and valving than the fwd and probably the Sebring.

Do you have 3g parts on your car? If so, I was unaware...

Alot of the 3g suspension parts will work on a 2g. I couldn't tell you which ones though.

KYB dust boot/bump stops (these are sort of universal but work fine)- sb103

Moog rear insulators- k7476

Gabriel strut mount kit (includes upper/lower bushings and sleeves)- 142419

Mitsu front spring insulators- MB864798

Mitsu front dust boot- MB864911

Mitsu bump stops (should be the same front/rear, but the label says rear)- MB949043

Mitsu rear dust boots- MB864787

I think that's about it, let me know if I forgot something.

No 3G parts on the car.
Were you suggesting that the kit fits a 3G and therefore fits my 2G ?

Correct i have read threads were people "repeat" this info, yet to see it being implemented.

Yes just by looking i believe the complete kit will bolt up to the GSX, however i'm skeptical that it will be A1.
Spring and Shock rating and blah blah.....ect.

Even Amazon says it wont fit....... like the site has ever been right. .

I really want a complete kit, just eye balling the numbers i don't want to piece it together.

Coilovers will be complete.
I know 3g rear lower control arms, end links, and sway bars can be fitted to a 2g. The strut assemblies look similar, but yeah, they almost certainly won't be the right valving and spring rate. Maybe even different lengths. Either way I'd definitely get struts and springs that are 2g AWD specific.

So based on this description, these are for sebring, avenger and eclipse.

So applying this to stocks... They should work, period. That leaves spring rates to consider.
