Okay guys, I know this topic has been covered in the sense that everyone's solution is to simply weeks the cracks and reinstall and hope it will hold for a while. This isn't good enough for me and am trying to reinforce the playing of the replacement pedal assembly before it goes into the car. I'm thinking of reinforcement plates, welds, replaced studs, and welded Z bar (of course). Does anyone have any tips or tricks that they might have had or done to their assembly?

Buy new one (used) and put a lighter pressure plate in... are you using like an act 2900?
