Obviously I'm new here. I read some of the newbie rules so I hope I'm not asking a repetitive/annoying question. My son is turning 17 next month. He has a Mustang and also recently purchased a 95 DSM Eclipse (the OZ rally edition. ) He takes his Mustang to car shows and he literally works to buy car parts. He has this eclipse now which he has put quite a but of money into already as it did not run when he got it. I thought I'd suprise him with some car parts for his upcoming birthday. He's getting ready to paint the car and I know he's really wanting some new wheels. I'm going to splurge I suppose. He's wanting the mesh type wheels and I'm on a budget. He likes the xxr and the bbs with are a little out of my price range. He has been looking at chrome and or silver/machined finishes. Any ideas of mesh wheels on a budget would be extremely helpful ( I will be buying a tire/wheel package, probably 18's.) I don't know much about these things so help a single Mom out here...Thanks :) Pics would be great!

Have you checked the classifieds here. That's where you'll find examples and possible deals.

The OZ rally edition only existed as a 1999 420A based Eclipse GS. If his car is a 1995 model it's something else, either a RS, GS, GST, GSX.

The various models came with different sized wheels but all used the same 5 lug 4.5" (114.3mm) mounting pattern with a 46mm offset (backspacing) and a 67.1mm center bore. Aftermarket wheels will typically require centering rings adapt to the 67.1mm hub diameter. Offsets from 38-46 mm are common.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I was aware of the bolt pattern. His car is a 1995 (I only know because I saw it on the title.) It does have the OZ rally wheels on it and the ginormous OZ wing on the back and it's all factory paint. I was told it was the OZ rally edition, but what do I know LOL. Iwas not aware they didn't make the OZ's until 99. I've uploaded a pic of when he first got it. He's done a lot of work on it since he's had it and it's ready to be painted. I will definitely check out the link. Thanks again for the helpful information!!
