Hey guys I got a question, my car sputters alot at WOT, from searching I found it seems that the coil pack is most peoples problem. So I got this car it has a evo 3 coil and I tried searching for people using a evo 3 coil and not much luck, so I'm wondering if I should get a new OEM coil, is there anything else that he would have changed to run this coil or that i should look for?

Coil packs are the same on 2G's & Evo 3. When I got my Evo 3 intake it came with the coils & bracket. When I swapped intakes all I need to do was plug in the connector and go.

Oh you will be fine at that gap. Once you start increasing the boost you may need to tighten it up. I run 32 psi and .024 seems to be the sweet spot using e85.

I have 6's in right now for the initial testing as I lost my 7's. Once you go to e85, I would change them to the 7s or 8s with gap in the .020-.026 range. Start with the larger gap and work your way down if you experience blowout.

Each car is different and you may have to play with the plug you choose whether it is the BPR7ES, BR7ES, BPR8ES, etc. You shouldn't have blowout with that gap range on those plugs in the 30 psi range but like I said, every car is different.
