I'm trying to get my car show ready what do I need and do not need under my hood ? I already deleted my ac comp and p.s pump all the metal lines along the timing belts are still there I'm not all that sure about the small thing under the passenger headlight. Can I delete it I think it's a EVAP vwv not sure tho... There is 2 lines going to that thing with a plug. One line goes some where under the car I think or maybe the rack and then the other line that comes off it is going no where at all. Can I delete that or ? I already deleted the egr what else can I delete. There is no emissions here in FL and it's not necessarly a DD only something I play w every now and then .

Yes, you can delete that black charcoal canister and related Evap. system; it serves no purpose except for emission control and it is designed to recycle or burn unused gasoline vapors instead of allowing them to escape into the atmosphere from the fuel system. Once deleted, cap off all vacuum nipples.

So the line that comes from under the fire wall cap that off that use to go to the evap ? That's what I did so I did it right that's good I thought that might be the problem I'm having now being related to me deleting that but now I know that that's a ease of mind

Jay Racing sells an alternator relocation kit that puts the alternator in the AC pump's position behind the engine and in front of the fire wall. That will clear-up some room for you :thumb:

-Relocate the cruise control motor (I have a plan on how to do this) or delete it
-Remove the stock side-mount intercooler and its piping
-Relocate the radiator fans to in front of the radiator
-Relocate the radiator underneath the front frame rail on which the radiator support mounts are bolted onto (this requires a smaller radiator. I've seen it done using Scirocco radiators)
-Drop the battery down, relocate it or put a cover over it, or just leave it as is
-Remove the engine hoist mount on the front of the engine behind the exhaust manifold (or whatever that piece of metal is)
-Re-route the metal lines running over the driver's side shock tower so that they run through the body underneath the shock tower and out of sight (I'm sure this is possible)
-Relocate the radiator overflow bottle and replace it with either a clean aluminium bottle or a powder coated black metal bottle
-Switch to speed density to get rid of your MAF looking all plastic and ugly in the engine bay
-Relocate the fuse box

I've spent hours and hours researching these topics myself, sorry if I overcrowded the thread ROFL I plan to do all of this to my GSX over the fall and winter.
