Round 3! I am gathering materials now and gearing up to do another batch of these. The advertised pricing here is contingent upon getting 15 people prepaid and on the list, with a maximum number of 20.

The arms are fabricated from 4130 chromoly tubing. They weigh in 30% lighter than the OE arm. (5.0 lbs, VS. 3.5 lbs) So total weight savings = 3.0 lbs. The shock mount and inboard end use Teflon-lined sphericals. These are exactly the same as the set that I built for Andrew Brilliant, and he's been successfully running them since 2105. As well, 35 sets sold on the first two group buys.

Aside from the weight savings, other benefits include:

* A stonger, rebuildable, and greasable balljoint
* ~1/2" drop on the outboard pivot, which helps raise the roll center
* ~1/2" more shock travel (lowered mount)
* All sphericals, so no more bushing deflection

These arms are e-coated and powdercoated cascade black. They will come assembled and greased with Joe Gibbs Driven grease. They will also include boots over the ball joints as a standard option. If you require boots and seals over the other sphericals, it will be an additional $30 total.

Price is $500 shipped.

Full payment up front is required to get on the list. PayPal is preferred. Gift payment or buyer to cover 3.3% PP fee. I also accept personal checks, money orders, and cashiers checks.
I will begin work on these are soon as I get a final count.

If you'd like to add in a set of tubular rear toe arms, I will include them at a discounted price of $160.

2) Andre Rosas
3) Wesley Dunham
4) Joshua Garcia
5) David Wray

Payment sent. And now we play the waiting game. Let me know if I messed up on the 3.3% calculation.

I realize that it is still early to worry about install. But I will need to adjust my front coil overs up 1/2" when I install these, correct?

Yup. If you want to maintain your current ride height, you will need to bring them up ~1/2".

Send me a pm with the price total with the dust boots and PayPal fee.

...or just drop it down on the ground Wes, if you're not scrapping you're not trying hard enough. :thumb:

Same here, I'm interested in getting these. Could you send me a pm with a total price with dust boots and PayPal fees? Thanks

Somewhat interested in these.

Are there any benefits besides potential minor weight savings to the tubular rear toe arms?

Two greatest benefits of the toe arms (aside from weight savings):

1) The factory adjusting components were prone to seizing, which would require them to be cut off the car and replaced (I had to do this on my own 2G many years ago). These tubular toe arms shouldn't ever seize.

2) The OE arms are very limited in the amount of adjustment they offer. My arms offer ~3x the amount of adjustment. I get many DSMers telling me this was the primary reason they bought them.

Paul, don't these also provide a means of camber adjustment?
Yes and no. Very small adjustments are probably OK, but if you use these for a primary means of camber adjustment, there can be issues. Andrew Brilliant had problems with the compression arm binding and unloading when he used the LCA for primary camber adjustment. The rubber inboard end of the compression arm just didn't like being forced to reposition. He adjusted the LCA's back closer to the stock length and the issue went away.

I'd guess that minor adjustments in length would float on past this issue, but I would recommend using the UCA to make camber adjustments. And I am hoping to have a prototype front UCA set done very soon.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who had this thought LOL. curious to see if they are similar design or different. I'm in on either one though both would be great I'm sure
