I have know clue to this new issue and with school haven't had much time to look. The problem is that ONLY in reverse, the car makes a terrible squeaking sound. Car is automatic. Initially I thought it was coming from the rear, so I loosened the hand brakes, nothing. It appears to be more from under the passenger side door, not the wheel well. Any clue as to where I should begin assessing would be great. Thanks.

Funny thing is, I washed under the car today and the sound is gone/very faint.

Might come back when the car dries. If it happens again try riding the breaks very lightly to see if that stops it. If it does, try the hand brake next to try to decide if it's from the front or rear.

Put the car on 4 jack stands and have someone in the car while in reverse then you might be able to pinpoint the noise .
