I have searched and havent found a best recommended fuse size for when relocating battery to trunk. I have noticed post with members running anywhere from 80amp to 200amp fuses.
I am relocating to trunk just because I cannot physically fit the newly swapped 90 4g63t motor and all other plumbing in my colt.
Being an electrician, we protect the wire at the main with the wire size amp rating. We then fuse the load at smaller respective fuses. It seems guys are doing different things whenever i run searches.
So running #1/0 wire, It should be fuse at 150amp or less.kRunning #1 wire, it should be fused at 130amp or less.
Or am I looking at this totally wrong?
I will be trying at #1awg cable fused at 100.
So to those that have a relocated setup, what are your fuse sizes at the trunk?
