Hey guys I was at my local pick and pull and ended up coming across a fresh 97 gst vert automatic. I decided to pull a few small things from it as the car was 100% stock. One of those was the injectors as mine sat in old gas I figured a having a spare set would not be a bad idea. On removal I noticed that they had green tops. My other set were black tops. The car was 100% stock. Still had the stock airbox and exhaust on it. But curious if these are the 450cc injectors.

No part number markings on them. There was some hand engraving marks of 50015. Wondering if it was set that got cleaned. Anyways here is a picture.

oem 450's would either be black or blue...
Can you post up/read the numbers that are on them? The ones you can partially see on the 2nd and 4th one in the pic.
Edit: you already posted the numbers, didn't see that last part.

50015

Other than that the sides usually have a part number but it looks to be batch numbers. Bad news is I think I know why the car was there. After more hunting looked at a 2.4 4g64 injector. This car was a convertible after all. However it was a GST model as it had a 4g63 in the engine bay with a turbo on it.

Something looks very close to the ones I pulled out of a turbo 4g63 car are supposed to be 4g64 injectors. Wonder if someone ordered the wrong injectors. Could be wrong tho.

Could be. Glad I don't have much in them.

Curious there is a Bosch 42lb inejctor 440cc that has a green top. I may keep these around and have them flow tested. To bad the local guy gave up on doing it. However they almost look like the 2.4 275cc injectors. The fun of what I am guessing is the only part changed on that car.

And if they are... probably why the car ended up in the yard. Some poor guy might or might not have gotten the wrong injectors... If you do get them tested post back what they are!

Kinda what I am thinking. The body of the car was in good shape. Heck even the top looked new. Had 164k miles on it. There also was a busted axle. Could have been another reason. Not sure why the car was there. I even need a motor for my 2g but I was not going to pull it. I like to buy out of cars that have body damage. That way you know what caused it to be there.
