So, I'll update my profile more, This will be for my 1991 Eclipse GSX, not my Talon. I'm ordering in a header, and I was wondering what will make me gain the most HP. I'm getting in some BC 272s on the 17th of may. I got 3 Inch intake piping, and 2.5 inch intercooler piping, with a Type RS BOV.
 
dsmlink, 550 or 580cc injectors, 16g turbo, walbro 190lph w/ rewire kit, wideband o2, boost gauge, MBC, 1 heat range colder spark plugs, 1g crushed or aftermarket BOV clutch+pp rated for ~400ft lbs. The cams were overkill for your goals imo, not that they will hurt, just that they should've been a lot further down the list, cams get the most gains when paired with all of the above, by themselves they aren't going to be the most cost effective upgrade.
I got very little sleep, so I'm not 100%, but I think I hit on everything, there are guides kicking around too, ~400hp 2g should run mid-high 12s from what I recall. Come to think of it you could probably get away a 14b and stock injectors at a higher pressure(+all the other stuff I listed) if you're only after 13.5, that's kinda slow, stock is high 13s low 14s from what I recall. But if you are like most of us you'll always want more. So I would still go with a 16g and upsized injectors, just make sure you plan for future upgrades if you think there is even a chance you will do them. You don't want to have to buy the same parts twice because you decide you don't have enough power. 400 is about as far as you will get on pump gas without meth btw. e85 is another option though if you have it in your area.
 
My car is kind of in pieces right now, I got a full HKS 3 Inch exhaust, and I have Evo 8 Injectors (560cc), Walbero 255LPH Rewired, an Open Dump O2 Housing, MBC (17PSI, 14B), and 2.5in SMIC Piping with a Greddy BOV, and a 3 Inch intake pipe.
I haven't ran it at the 1/4 mile, and I'm only hoping for 13.5 or closer to 12 because the Elevation is at over 3,000 here.
 
I ran mid 13's with my gvr4 when I first got it. ;) I did it with 550's, 2g maf, w255, fmic and boost at 17psi with no tune, crappy slipping clutch and junk dry rot tires LOL. You really need a way to tune bro, especially running bigger injectors.

Same here haha. Went 13.20 on a 2g maf 550 combo with a failing center diff, sad 1.85 60ft and snow tires.
 
I've yet to take my car to the track :( I always kind of wondered what this thing would of done when it still have the 14b in it with link, compared to my old fwd laser, the laser just felt faster but I'm sure that's because fwd. then again I think I'd be happy with 13s with my setup LOL
 
I might go to the strip on saterday. First time with ecmlink and a good tune ;) throw some 100oct in and Max the boost see if I can hit low 12's. My goal is to hit 11.99, before I switch the 68hta in haha. But probably won't happen with the 3bolt rear. Once my 4bolt is here then I can launch this sucka and get there. Just going to try rolling out of it and hopefully not break a axle LOL. ;) I know bro my wife is scared of my gst. But in the gvr4 with pretty much the same power doesn't bother her one bit LOL. She actually likes going cruzin in it, even got her in it for a few Autox runs. But she's a Mitsu fan just like me and is my biggest help with them. Now that she knows what the gvr4 is she wants me to fully restore it ;) And she actually won't let me sell the gst, a lot of good memories with it!

You're shooting for 11.99 in a 14b? If you pull it off I wanna see the video! Also I'm interested to see how you'll like the 68hta when you do swap it over. My girlfriend refuses to drive the GSX, mostly because she can't push the clutch in :X But she's not into cars.. come to think of it she's not a big fan of all the car parts I've been ordering lately.. LOL
 
Oh I know bro that's the one things my wife can't stand. All my parts in the closets, outside in the garage in bins haha. But atleast she knows they are getting used and have a purpose. I'll for sure get some vid bro. Biggest mod will be good driving ;) haha will be maxing it out that's for sure. With my current setup and the right tune for the track. I have a good feeling it can be done and atleast wanna try. Plus the car is really fun right now with the 14b! Rips on the Autox course haha

I think I remember from another thread you swapped out the evo injectors for stock if not you need a way to compensate for the larger injectors (safc at minimum)
and according to your profile you don't have a wideband? ... need a wideband...
Having a logging device is also good, a simple palm pilot (since your young google it :p) and the free mmcd software works good for idc's and knock.

My girlfriend hates my GST, but has no problem with my Evo 4 which puts down 70 more whp. Awd keeps the ladies happy.

@op: A tune is really the best way to get the most out of your car. I avoided tuning my GST forever and wish I hadn't. Really made me so much more passionate about the car.
 
^^ heck ya haha ;). Bro for a gst a tune and good staged boost control is the ticket. Once that's all good some coilovers/suspension work LSD is kinda a must and good sticky tires are your best friend LOL.

I'd leave it largely stock except for exhaust and drive the living crap out of it. (ie daily drive it)

Leave the Talon to be modded. (based on your profile, it's already modded)
 
I'm my opinion the biggest gains I got when I started out was from a 3 inch turbo back exhaust. And when i removed it for court because I got a ticket that essentially said I was too loud.. Man did it slow up the car. I mean alotttt
