hi everyone hows it going im new to the dsm world, been into hondas since i was 15 and have always wanted an evo but could never afford one. To start this build off i pickedup a 1991 eagle talon awd for a parts car.
It has a carbon fiber hood, rx-7 wheels, braided brake lines, adjustable rear upper control arms, autopower bolt in roll cage, fluidyne radiator, 750cc injectors, apexi safc2 16g turbo, arp chromoly head studs, act #2600 clutch, apexi turbo timer, 2g piston and 1g rod bottom end and thats pretty much it. I ended up taking the motor, trans, and tcase out as soon as i got it home. Got the head off the motor and off the the machine shop it goes.
Then i went all out ordering some go fast goodies

Now for the car all this is going into. I ended up looking for another 1g that was cleaned and one that didnt have a hacked up harness like the previous car, ended up finding a clean shell one of my buddys friends had laying around. I picked up a clean rust/rot free 1990 eagle talon tsi shell from Louisiana.
Once i got this car home the tear down began with this car, had to put my 91 shifter cables in, install a 4 bolt rear end i got with the car, put the rx-7 wheels from the other car on, cleaned up the engine bay, got the sending unit out, jmf bumper support on, adjustable rear upper control arms in, and fluidyne radiator all mocked in
I will be keeping this build thread pretty much updated with new pictures and recent work done i will deffinately need some input to help me get this thing done, thanks for looking
Update 10/16/16
Got my head back from the machine shop looks great and also picked up a precision 6765 for $250 , sent that in to get rebuilt and get a 66 turbine housing and turbine, also started making the lines for the fuel setup and fitting the fuel lab filter in the oem bracket, and running the feed line setup off the mighty max filter housing
Update 10/30/16
I got all my fuel lines ran and buttoned up under the car
Got my billet wheel pte 6766
