Just figured I'd vent a bit, so don't mind if I do.

After 4 years of not touching my talon, I finally get it home and in the garage to begin what I put off for to long.

I have had the car home at my townhouse in the garage for about two weeks. Well I had the garage door open the other day an one of the managers drives by. Didn't really think much of it. However, low an behold, I get a addendum emailed to me that's "for everyone" that lives in my townhouse/apartment area. It states that there is to be "No repairs on vehicles of any kind any where on the property". There was other things they updated, trash, visitor parking, etc....

Well me being me, I figured I would snake by and anytime I want to work on the talon I'll just have the garage door shut. Problem solved right??? Not, then because of winter coming they are enforcing that only one vehicle be parked in the parking spot and the other vehicle be parked in the garage(no end to end parking). All vehicles will have a parking sticker labeling whether it can be parked outside(in a designated letter marked spot) or in the garage.

Now mind you, including the talon we have two other vehicles. Soooo, by Nov. 1st I have to find somewhere else to store and work on my talon all within less than a week. Did I mention the car is already in a hundred piece's and not drivable in its current state. If that's not winning at life, then I don't know what is!

Rent a small commercial garage in an industrial park. You'll love the extra space and you can do it with a few buddies.

This was my plan, but ended up buying a house with a garage. Now, NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHAT TO DO. LOL

The talon is still hidden in the garage for now. I got around it by luck, the wife's friend lives in a duplicates next to us. Which is owned by different people. We have been allowed to park our second car in their guest parking area.

However, once the snow flys we cant park there as they for whatever reason don't plow out the spot.

I did find a heated garage to store the talon in. Just have to get the CAS connector/wiring fixed and the throttle cable back in it. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel after all.
