I have not used the DV model. I have been running their Synchronic BOV since 2008. I love it, pretty much eight years of use and never a problem. I've consistently run 34psi with no issues and as there is no rubber diaphragm to wear out I've never had to service it. Plus I think it sounds pretty good, especially now that I'm running SD and have it vented to atmosphere.

I'm very happy with my DV. The best bov I've used in last 8 years. No problems with it whatsoever and it actuates very fast. I've run up to 24 psi so far with it.

It also fits nicely for my set up.

Thanks! Follow up question. Do you DD your car? How does it handle boost under part throttle? modulated throttle? Does it flutter?

Why not find a used tial 50mm for half the price?

One 1 port hooked up to Vac/Boost and the other open to atmosphere? How does it handle part throttle? Any flutter?

Are you saying tial is not reputable? Tell that to the multiple 2000hp+ lsx cars and tt lambos.

Not at all. I'm just interested in how a BOV behaves under daily driving. My modded 1G flutters like a bi*** when I let off the throttle. So I'm looking for something with better manners.

Initially I had flutter under part throttle particularly under load, such as up a hill. It took some trial and error for hooking up the ports. The synchronic has three of them. For my setup I have port C connected to the IC pipe directly below the BOV and one of the ones on the back run to my intake manifold with the other vented to atmosphere. Off of the top of my head I don't remember which is which. But once I found the setup that worked it works well.
