It comes with a video. At idle everything is awesome, but if I blip the throttle or hold it anywhere above idle, I get this buzzing noise, almost like the toothed side of the belt or something is hitting the timing cover. Obviously, it's not the teeth since that would be nearly impossible.
The timing belt, tensioner, components and BS belt were all done by a competent previous owner. I pulled the covers off and re-checked the tension on the belt and everything seemed fine as piece of mind before I realized this noise existed. I'm days away from having this car back on the road (running but trailered it home) but don't want to drive it with this noise and the potential for it to cause large issues. Obviously the next step would be pull the belts one by one and inspect for the noise, eventually leading to a full cover off scenario.
Have any of you heard anything like this before? I figure, if it were something rubbing the timing cover, it would also happen at idle, otherwise I'd dive in and start ripping accessories down.
