Figured I would try a different twist on the build journal. Not the typical "Bought a new downpipe today" and then post a picture with it.

As the joke goes...."Are you going to give us your life story"......... well kinda

A heads up to people that cant stomach reading. This will probably cause you to leave two seconds into the build.

Mind you I left out a lot, Figured I could always go back in and adjust things later.

Check out my build if you find yourself with some free time.

All photos are originally mine, the two photos from DSMTalk.com are the only two photos from that year that I could find or have left.

Thank you! There's a huge time gap from about 2010-2016 where somethings in my life happened. Sadly, even the things I found interest in(even my DSM's). I lost a lot of motivation and enjoyment in it.

Things have changed for the better, and now I'm able to focus on my hobbies and enjoy it!
 
Nice intro,you are a lucky one and got your high school car back. I still to this day haven't found my 93 eclipse gs 1.8 sohc floating on a craigslist add. Yes its a gs non turbo but dam I loved that car. I will also like to thank you for serving, and good luck with your build ill keep an eye on this.

Sorry for the horrible spelling and grammar. Not one of my strong suits(mainly proof reading). I keep reading it over and over finding a lot to fix.

Put the file together in half a day. Wanted to get it all written out before I had a brain dump.

Currently I'm redoing a lot of the wiring harness, new vacuum lines, adding a few ports to the intake manifold, and fixing a lot of stuff that I did and the owner I sold it to half A$$ed.

Little update: so I ran into a issue I where the piston cooling nozzles backed themselves out and two case completely out. Lucky for me, no real damage other than a little nick in the crank. Thank my lucky stars I didn’t have my bottom end ripped apart. Can’t afford another $2500 rotating stroker assembly.

Pulled the engine and trans, found a lot of things the builder half assed but then went all out on when doing the clutch assembly and engine build.

Doing the abs delete, new wiring harness and relocating. Just a lot of misc. things I’m upgrading or replacing while the engines out. Subframe bushings, suspension bushings, some painting, etc..
