This is a very stupid question but are both are these bearing sets for the crank and what are the metal pieces that look like cam caps for?

Kings are rod bearings

The others are your main bearings. The ones that look like caps are the thrust bearing. Those go in the middle of the crank.

I have picked up a Chilton's manual. The head has been machined and I plan on getting the blocked machined. I unfortunetly everything I've done have to undo because my cousin went and sealed my head gasket on to the head and block.

The motor was that rusty, are you sure the crank is even good? You were also asking about piston compressors....I hope you haven't already bought pistons. You cant do that until you know the bore size.
This isnt a shot but it sounds like youre in over your head.
