Hey All!

Been a while since I touched my project since I got it overhauled with all new parts, hardware, and powdercoating. Just wanted to make sure I have everything in order.

1. In the 1st picture, my rear upper control arms mounted to my body have a spacer in between them and the car (thick grey spacers). Does anyone else have these? This is a GS-T Converted to be a GSX so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it.

2. In the 3rd picture, the nut and bolt that go through the control arm bushing, isn't there suppose to be a washer? I cant find the part number on a diagram. I think after getting powdercoated the washers got lost. So my question is, what kind of washer, size, and grade do I need to go pick up?

3. The last pictures are of my rear lower control arm. On the inner part that is mounted inside of the subframe, i can wiggle that back and fourth over the metal bushing that is inside of i, it moves off of it fairly easy. Is this normal?

Thank you!

them rear uca spacers are for the adjustable pickups and not needed on oem mounts, it may help if your super low to offset camber but it may be too much!

the washer is not an issue just buy a new washer all bolts have or use a washer to spread load! so any that dont grab a washer for its bolt size

Thank you for the reply. But without those spacers the mounts do not fit flush in the curved slot. The bump on the control arm hits the body of the car..

you then have chassis issues! as mine where oem and it had zero spacers! they designed it to have the curve in and the chassis to receive that curve! if its not mating correctly then look at it and see whats out of shape as its 100% not right if it wont mount without the spacers

just double checked, fitment is perfect no issues there. I now remember why i had the spacers on there, from the original owner...been months since i have looked at it.

now what do you think about the 3rd question. do you understand my issue?

no it should not move 1 bit as it should be moulded to the bush! take some more pics of that area, normally it will move over the bolt until its tightened but the bush should not be still and the lca arm moving!

ahh yes figured it out. the first 2 pictures show my left arm (bad) and the 2nd 2 pictures show the right arm (good). you can see that the right arm metal bushing is flared after pressed in, hence why it stays in place, the left arm is not flared, as you can see it moves.

I bought them from JNZ Tuning, would they take a return on this?

they are pretty good so they may do, when was they bought? i can only imagine they would help you swap them as they are oem defaults from the factory but can only ask i guess, ive never seen that though so thats a first for me LOL, lucky you checked everything out and found this

Hey guys, Need to bring this back up. I sent the control arm back but now those have been discontinued. Does energy suspension make a bushing that will replace that metal/rubber one on this control arm?

Guys, I need this rear lower control arm bushing but I cant seem to find anyone who sells it, can I get some assistance please?
