Did a compression test and numbers were low as expected(car still ran ok).. tried to start the car after checking all 4 cylinders and it acts like its not getting gas stumbling and thumping at 500rpm with foot at wot and dies as soon as i let off.. starter fluid seems tobget it to start a bit better but eventually it gets used and goes back to thumping.

Used link to verify fuel pressure to the rail. Checked injector pack resistance and it was good. Coils are good and did a firewall spark test to verify spark.

Not sure what else to check. The only thing i did was unplug cas to do the test and plugged it right back on after and now this.

Well i tried the ecu even with the bigger injectors.. it didnt act any different... im wondering if my injectors all spontaneously clogged up at this point...

You've gotta be over looking something simple. There's no way the car goes from fine to inoperable after a compression test. Retrace your steps and confirm everything you did to perform the test has been undone.

Did you end up trying some stock injectors with the other ECU? I've had clogged injectors that would operate correctly, but no fuel was actually passing through the injector.

I gave up and am letting a friend go over it again... clogged injectors would fit the scenario but it worked right before the test. If it sat for a week or so before itd make sense... while its out of commission we will clean them anyway and get new seals...

Yeah I know what you mean. This things can be so frustrated making you want to just push the car over a cliff...I mention the injectors cause I had a similar problem with mine but it did sit for about a week. Had to send the injectors out to get cleaned and the problem was gone.

My other car did that with e85 after sitting for a week too... but it was only 1 that stuck and i was able to jump it open again.

Who knows.. i told my buddy if its something stupid i missed to lie to me...

I need to hurry and build this fresh motor and lose the low compression 170k one

Well, injectors for the win.. swapped in some others and it runs..m so time to service mine... e85 gunked me up after a year.... so after roughly 15k miles using e85 it was time for a cleaning... ill start doing this every 6 months for sanity.. seals also wore out pretty quickly..
