I bought my talon back years ago, I was overseas and was not present for the buy back of the car.
Pretty much it was the exact talon I had owned back in high school(2006). Never really wanted to get rid of it, but I knew I just needed it back.
Supposedly the owner after me rebuilt the 2.0 I had blown up. He claims he rebuilt it to a 2.3l and did a bunch of other stuff. However, he had zero paper work other than for a new battery, and having some new shift bushings installed. (Just a little sketchy I know).
The past is the past, its mine again now.
Is there any way to verify if its still a 2.0 or 2.3l without dropping the pan or tearing down the engine completely?
Would really like to know, and need to know for tuning purposes.
