Exactly what the title says would a stoker be good for the 6466. I have the 6466 and i am on the fence weather or not to go with a 2.0 or a 2.3.

my goal is to be around 650hp with a solid base tune. From there I would love to pull more out of the car i just want to make sure i wont run out of RPM with the 2.3 stroker. I know it will start to spool up at lower RPMs i guess im just a little worried i have this huge turbo and just want it to be powered by the right engine. What are your goals and intended use for the car?
Do you think i will run out of room that engine and turbo? If you plan on reving higher, which I can see you doing with that turbo, I'd run a 2.0. Just my personal preference tho
Why is that?My blue car is a 2.3 with a Super 94. If I had it to do over again I would build a long rod 2.0.
i like my transmissions to last longer then a 2.3 allows
The point i was making is that the 2.3 makes gobs more tq low end... Which will break trans sooner the. A 2.0, it's hit and miss, some people like you and i have only done one trand rebuild, some are on their 12thFor what its worth, I have been on the stock trans since 2008 with the 2.3 and have only broken one trans. After the AWD swap I have now been all season on 6466 and stock trans still and have yet to hurt anything. Mind you I haven't had it on kill mode lower boost currently around 30.
Are the revs that much better is the 2.3 fun to drive what psi are you at?I currently have a 2.3 and a 6466 actually. I put the 2.3 in my car years before I made the switch over to the 6466. This entire summer I have been rocking the setup and if you're just looking to stay at 650 then you should be just fine with either setup. I am actually ditching the 2.3 this winter to swap back to a 2.0. I need the reeevvvvssss
As a general rule of thumb. The 2.3 usually makes around 100hp give or take more over a 2.0 on the same setup. Also makes more tq like i said. But it really depends on what you want to do with it. The 6466 spools 30psi by about 5500 on a good divided t4 setup on a 2.3 I'd expect it to be around 5100.Everyone gives me mixed information I heard it will be fun with the 2.3 I think the revs will be fun with a 2.0 does anyone this it will really make a difference?

I have a friend on a 2.3 with the 6466 that drives it on the street with only pump and meth and has had the car up to 50+psi @jery1234 but hes on an auto, and a mad scientist
In the end it's all your choice

I will be running on E85 as its pretty easy to get in Ohio. i just want to make sure i will be able to get to about 40 psi thats where i am looking to be at with the turbo anymore will just be a great plus and yes i will get a great boost controller i have a electronic one and i was looking to switch to a manual.
Like i said, Some are lucky, some go through 12 even on a 2.0I don't disagree, transmissions are the ONE thing I've been lucky with on this car
