Hello all...

A couple of months ago, I did a new water pump and decided to throw a new timing kit in with it. After sitting for several months, I went out and tried to crank it up. The sprockets and crankshaft pulley is turning fine. However there is no ignition to the engine. It just turns constantly and a feint pop from the turbo every once and awhile. I'm out at a standstill.

I've looked at the spark plugs, looked at the fuel injectors along with the pump. Everything seems to be in order.

Motor: 420a (2.0L DOHC)

Fuel, Air, Fire, Compression

Fuel - pump turns on when you put the key in? check the fuel rail
Air - everything hooked up correct?
Fire - Confirm you have spark and the plug wires are in the correct order
Compression - do a compression test

You didnt try to fire it up after the install, you waited several months?
