The tan Isc in the pic is the one I took out I have a 2g intake and head on a 1g

Reason I took it out is it had a bad coil

I was going to replace it with one I had on the shelf but it is black and it is shorter then the one I took out should these be the same or are the 2g difrent then the 1g

Or will it work fine

Thanks
MJP

The black ones are interchangeable with the tan ones, I have a box of iscs from my hoarding over the years LOL, one odd thing I noticed is the tan ones come in a few verities, or at least the tips are a little bit different between a few that I have on hand, supposedly tan ones fail more often, but I have seen the opposite on a friends 1GB... Also to stay on the safe side I suggest you crack open your ecu and make sure that your ISC drivers are still in good shape, preferably before you stick the black ISC on your car, [I mean you don't want to fry 2 good ISC motors because of a possibly bad ecu] definitely worth a look.

Thanks guys for the info I was thinking they were interchangeable I did check the ecu first thing when I knew the coil bent bad but all good

I put the black one in and made some adjustments on link and on the motor now it sent to idle great don't know how my cold start idle will he yet and it seams after the car sits a bit and I start it up it revs to like 2000 or so and then come down fastish to idle the tan one never did that is there a way to adjust how far it revs up when you start it I do have link v3
