I'm rebuilding the rear driveshaft section for 1g awd. The u-joint was stiff. I took it apart and it doesn't look like it is damaged. I think I could clean it up and put it back together. However, the snap rings were rusted and I bent a couple and broke one. Where can I get the individual snap rings? what part number? I didn't see a part number listed for it. Or is it not worthy to reassemble and should just buy the yoke kit MR470072?

You have to buy the whole yoke kit. You need the snap ring assortment in order to install the bearing caps and ensure the tolerances are within specification.

Jafro explains this in depth in the videos below. I've linked the videos that apply to your question. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks! It now makes sense to buy the kit. I didn't know about the different thicknesses of the snap rings.
