Hello, my name is Ian and I'm from Valparaiso indiana. I have had a few dsm's before but never got on the forums. I just picked up a 1992 panda plymouth laser rs awd. 6/4 bolt car with sunroof, cruise, and burgundy interior. Only a 2 owner car and 140k on it. I immediatly replaced the timing belt and balnce belt with blue gates racing belts, and all oem components. New harmonic balancer (fluidamper soon). Act2600 clutch, short throw, air can cut and mass air hack with k&n/ silencer removal/ bcs restrictor removal/ 2.5 inch exhaust with punishment racing o2 dump. Meagan coilovers and strut tower braces. Ac is deleted but still has p/s. Aem boost guage, and I just purchased an aem uego wide band and a apexi pen style turbo timer. I want to get a oil pressure guage and egt guage before I go any farther with mods. I am planning on getting dsmlink asap.

Where does everyone keep getting these AWD Lasers .... I would have loved to get a a early 1992 AWD laser would have been my first choice on 1g's to build this time around. Great looking car and nice keep up on the maintenance the car

Hello from another laser owner

It was hard for me to find. I searched for months. I had to drivr 4 hours to get it. Worth it all. Just put new alternator on today. Put the higher amp one of the auto cars.

It looks really good, and no spoiler thats even better .... not a fan of the sun roof, but beggers could not be chooser's. I am going to go for a Saturn alt when I replace mine .... I really am going to look for the rear tail lights from that year , then a 1991 Eclipse front bumper and rear spoiler.

thanks. I wasn't so sure on the sunroof at first but it doesn't leak and with as hot as it can get its nice to have I guess. at this point I'm just waiting on the weather to be nicer so I can work on it and install some goodies.

3 bolts broke off on the 02 housing when I put my dump pipe on so now its got a huge leak before the 02 sensor and its throwing the a/r's off. I don't know if it would be worth it to drill and tap the turbo or just find a big 16g and call it a day

Nice find! I also have a 93 laser. Factory black car that someone repainted (poorly) red. Luckily they didn't get in the jams or engine bay. I'm thinking either white or back to black. I like the white! Keep up the good work!

Thanks everyone. It's coming together pretty well. I'm just about maxing out my fuel system so it's time to get ecmlink and upgraded fuel system. I'll keep you posted.

Update. She runs great. My power steering decided to start leaking massive amounts, so I'm going to fix that and autox it this summer
