hello everyone,
i have a daily driver 1993 NA eclipse that and my stock 7bolt 4g63 decided to shit itself. (it overheated and had lifter noise and the rollers were bad,)
i couldn't find a good 4G63 in my country, so i got a 4GCP from a Hyundai sonata until i will rebuild my 7 bolt.
the 4gcp is a 6bolt so i had to get a 6bolt flywheel and clutch.... i had to use the 4g63 transmission spacer since the 4gcp spacer didnt align with the starter (its a AT spacer)
now i have a problem....... the starter spins ( no crank of course ) but there is no contact between the starter gear drive and the flywheel....am i suppose to use a different starter for this swap? maybe remove the spacer ?
