What all causes knock????

Somebody please list all the reasons for knock to occur.

I've tried to get rid of mine for months now and I just can't figure out what's causing it. I replaced the knock sensor, fixed my boost leaks, changed my fuel filter, tried lowering timing and boost, lowered fuel, tried adding race gas but nothing helped. I still get knock and I have no clue what's causing it. I get knock readings of 3-8 (with a raw of 22 counts) on 6000rpm+. DSMlink shows a 10.7:1 A/F ratio and base timing is at 5degrees. LTFT's are at -2% Somebody please help me out.:dsm:
 
While you are at it with changing the coolant and adding water wetter, throw in a 180* thermostat.

Did you ever find the cause of all your knock. I'm running into a very similar situation.. biggest confusion is last fall I ran the same set up and and very little to zero knock and ran great. Not I can barley get half throttle pulls in with out an 8 count. I've noticed my timming os up near 20 right around 3k but only some times.. this is throwing me way off being I ran this setup already and ran great.

here is a few logs fisrt 2 are what im dealing with now the other 3 are test and tune from last year when the tune was getting close. in the last 3 logs i didnt have my shift box, so it woulnt sift and why their is a jumpy throttle at frst. this car a fwd auto. fresh motor maybe3k miles evo3 and all supporting mods. i have a few more of the knock but alot are half or 3/4 throttle an look the same. i have tried moving the tune to what it was last yr and it didnt help much. tried moving it around as well with no luck. cel is set for 3. moved it to 5 but you can feel the car nose over early. also has started breakin up around 5k. im around 18psi was at 15 was experieng the same. the test an tune logs i was runn 20-24psi. the only thing i see of is my af Est. which i dd try changin my de table fo max oct a bitup high added fuel hopin would help. it didnt
