So I have a GST Auto and I would like to install a transmission cooler before the radiator but after the oil cooler. Can I just pull out the core without removing any of the lines? I can block them. That just seems like a lot of work. Also can I remove the radiator then the AC core or the bumper then the AC core?

Also since my fans run with the AC switched engaged if I delete the core?

Oh yea, I was going to get it drained professionally. So that was a complete write up but if I just want to take the condenser core out, I should be fine? Then I can install my autotranny cooler. I am not so much worried about weight, the pulley, or cleaning my bay.

Take out what you want. It is your car, pick and choose what you want. Would that be how I would do it? No, but it is not my car. I suppose you should at least block off the lines.

I guess that was what I was getting at. If the freon is drained then would it be necessary to block off the lines? Since nothing should really be happening. I will see when I do it what to plug in there.

I would just delete the entire system, condenser, compressor, lines, etc. It's really not hard at all and frees up a lot of space. And yes, your AC fan will still work with the entire system gone.
At least just pull the condenser, remove all the lines and cut the belt.

Im with PlanZero on this one. I moved my fans to pushers and deleted the ac to fit the fans. I pulled the condenser lines and cut the belt. I plan to remove compressor when I replace head studs. I use the ac button if I want to manually turn my fans on
