6 bolt 2g swap with a rebuilt block. I am running 8:3:1 .020 pistons.

I'm already preparing for this winter and trying to see what my next purchases should be.I do want to upgrade my turbo this winter, which leads me to my first question. What is THE turbo to have? My end goal is to keep up to my husband's mustang, 11.8 at the track.

Since a bigger turbo will require larger injectors, I want to know does brand matter for injectors? If so, what is good and what should I stay away from?

External wastegates, what is good and what do I need to stay away from?

I will be upgrading my fuel pump with this as well and adding dsmlink to tune. To do a larger turbo, if I missed anything that I will need to upgrade please let me know. And do not be worried about cost when throwing out the ideas, I'll be saving and researching what is in my budget. Thank you in advance!

If it was me I'd start with link and learn as much as I could. Knowing how to do your own tuning would help regardless to what you want to use your car for.

Yes, even my husband agrees with this.link is the next purchase and I am fortunate that my husband is good at tuning. He has tuned mustangs and supras for a few local friends and they have done very well with track times and drivablity.

An evo3 16g or bastard/td06 20g would get you there. The evo 3 will take some more finite tuning, the 20g will be choked in bastard form, slightly more laggy in td06 form.

Nice thing is, a bastard 20g spools fast and hits hard, and uses the same parts for install as a 14b/16g.

Lots of other choices out there, just my 2 cents.

The turbos to use and are capable of getting you there are Evo111 16G, Fp Hta 68 8cm, 20g Tdo6.
Injectors needed 650cc,750cc,1000cc for E-85. Get a Walter/Alcohol Methanol Kit. It will help big time.

Just a few of capable turbo's below that are bolt on.
Evo 111 16 G
Fp Hta 68 8cm
20g Tdo6
Bastard 20g
Fp Hta 68 7cm

264/272 or 272/272
3 inch exhaust Down-pipe back.

Poly Urethane Motor Mounts.
2G manifold or better-FP manifold

We have 3" exhaust and a boost controller already. Urethane mounts will be purchased soon and installed as well. Better clutch is understandable as I am running a slightly better than stock clutch that was purchased cheap through my employer.

Doing an E85 build will be difficult because we only have 1 gas station near me that carries it. So realistically it would most likely be 91/93 pump gas for now.
