I am re-doing the my accusump lines from -8an to -10an, and changing from the oil cooler ports to the turbo feed port. I've got an Evo 3 7 bolt OFH and I'm getting conflicting information on which ports are filtered & thread specs.

The picture below says that #1 is unfiltered, this currently is my oil feed line to the turbo, should I switch this to Port #3? Is it correct that both are 3/8" BSP?

I'm not running an oil cooler, can I block off ports #6 & #8, or do I have to loop it?

After getting the new motor installed, my factory oil pressure gauge isn't working (although the engine harness plug is marked, and what I assume is the sensor was left in a box in the car). Which port does the sensor plug into, Port #4?

#1 is unfiltered oil. #3 should be used for a turbo feed on this housing. Yes, they are both 3/8 BSPT.

You can block them off, but I would recommend pulling #4 (the bypass valve) and removing the c-clip and spring if you do to prevent any chances of oil starvation: Oil cooler deletion help!

The Evo III housing only has provisions for either the gauge unit sender or the dummy light switch, not both. You can, however, add another port for the gauge unit at location #9. See: 7 bolt evo III oil filter housing on a 2g

According to shop that installed the motor, the black fitting in Port #1 is a -4AN to 3/8" NPT.
So I should stop looking for 3/8" BSP adapters, 'cause the threads are already deformed. I guess that's a good thing as long as they don't start leaking.

If it was done correctly, it shouldn't be a problem. The original size of the port is 3/8" BSPT.
