95 eagle talon tsi , when I would start it up let it warm up a bit it would be driving fine after driving around town the clutch feels like it's slipping. I bought the car from some guy couple months ago pulled out the engine and trans and had brand new clutch didn't check to see if anything was resurfaced but when I would drive either it's 1st-4th when I drive normal . I don't even go wot on it the Rpm would just jump then I would let off and it feels like it would grab , then if I barely press it it would jump again ? Any help?

Hmm sounds iffy to me. Sounds like it's not new. Who forgets the name of a new clutch they just put in. Lol. Pull the inspection cover and look. You should be able to tell if it's new or not. Sounds like it's time for a south bend!! ;)

Okay did some research on the interwebs and the clutch when I pulled it out was blue and the only blue clutches I've seen are the spec ones . I see they have a bad rep?

Ya hated my spec clutch! Lasted for 6-7 passes at the track and was broken in properly to. And I was making way less power than it was supposedly supposed to handle. :( that's why I'll only use southbend now ;)
I've been looking into southbend got some good reviews to back it up . I got a ? I Would start my car let it warm up then drive it around and after I'd say like one trip around town the clutch would start slipping and then I'll eventually lose it ? Like I have to pull over wait for the car to cool down then drive it again .

Most likely the disk, pressure plate and flywheel surfaces are all glazed. Either is wasn't meant to handle the power of the car. Or it wasn't broken in properly, or beat on and abused. Gotta drop the trans bro and check it out. If the disk is new you can etch the surface and take the glaze out. And you can have the pressure plate and flywheel medi/sand blasted to clean up and take glaze off as well. Then break it back in properly and you should be good. But find out what it's rated at first to see if it can even handle a stock car haha. Also if you have a aluminum spec flywheel, change it. They keep to much heat in the clutch assembly for some reason. That's what can cause them up glaze over easier. Switch to a stock oem or act flywheel and you shouldn't have any issues. I love my south bend! ;) I don't think I'll use anything else. There going in all my Mitsu's!

Thanks man will look into it , but something weird happened today I was driving the car for about 10 miles , I started feelingredients the clutch go cause I would have to let the pedal reach the top to engage it till I completely lost the clutch . I put the car in first let go of the clutch and nothing I was stuck in a turning lane LOL . But I kept pressing the clutch in and out and finally I got It back some how. It was working perfect like I would let the clutch out 2 Iniches and it was grabbing . I wonder what went wrong ?

And actually before I took the car out I adjusted the rod behind the clutch

Sounds like a master cylinder issue of pedal pump up, or you are preloading the clutch with the pedal up from over adjustment. or you have a combination of defective clutch and a hydraulic system problem or adjustment issue. Spec and EBay F1? Clutches both are blue covers.
