Its supposedly better than Torco. I'll do a very scientific test of throwing a can in my car which is untuned and crank the boost up and see what happens. I'll do 10gal of 91oct + a bottle of that when I get the car back up here soon. That "Should" yield 99oct but if it keeps it from knocking at 27 psi we'll know its worth something. Might be fun for us street guys who want a little more play every once in a bit just for the hell of it.

Just get some race gas. Cheaper and seems to yield more per gallon. Ive been planning to try it just havnt yet. http://race-gas.com. The vp one says not to use it with o2 sensors. Wonder what it would do to a wideband.
Octanium is cheaper and made by a reputable company. We have it at the local autozone even. I'll check out the race-gas though another time.

Oh ya I didn't see it was a 8pack my bad bro. Ya you get 2 more cans with the vp. I love vp gas what I normally use out here. My friend gets 100 and 110. But it's so expensive, 5 gallons is like $60. The cans are pretty much the same thing concentrated race gas. I've really been thinking about trying them to. You can get 100-105oct out of a can. ;)

I'm ordering my clutch from TMZ today then it goes back together and I can try.

Never tried this in my car but in the mustang it really shows its true colors

It's a leaded 110 arctic cat race fuel for some sleds at work,
the stuff is like a pinkish purple color kinda wierd LOL

There are a million E85 stations near you in Cali. Why would you prefer to buy octane booster?

Because there's not here. Theres like 2 within 20 miles. And because I don't have E85 supporting stuff yet so it will just be 1or2 bottles just to see how it works and just for shits and giggles. I'm going E85 shortly though.

By no means would I run this as a permanent fuel, but if I feel like dicking around and cranking the boost up a little for a night or 2 I think it would be great. But we'll just have to wait and see how well it works. I'll do some logging and stuff as well if anyones curious.

I drive farther than that.

For a DD, I could see how that would be a pain. I only drive the Galant for pleasure, so I'm not filling up all the time. When I do though, I usually take a couple 5 gallon cans with me so I have some extra juice in the garage.

Once you go E85, you'll never want to go back to pump...Especially that 91 Cali piss water.

Oh I'm sure LOL that's why its the plan. Its my daily though. We have about six 5 gallon cans for going riding so I was gonna snag like 3 for myself. I do a LOT or driving too. I mean a LOT. If I get bored at home its not uncommon for me to go out and put 100 miles on the car or just drive a couple hours because its fun. I'll probably plumb a 7 gallon fuel cell into the stock gas tank or something.

If that's the case, you may want to consider upgrading to link V3 to utilize a flex fuel sensor.

Your Lucky to have e85 :(. I would have to order like a 50g drum gahaga. Trying to talk my vp gas guy to start getting it. I also love to joy ride esp the gvr4 it's been so much fun lately. I'm glad I did all I did when I did. Really made it a solid car all around. Next for me is coilovers and suspension upgrades :)
