This must be where I should show my Datsun swap build.

Didn't realize that I could post in this forum. Been looking through it to see some other swaps. Some pretty cool cars and some dead ends I see.

I started on mine after visiting Puerto Rico in late 2014, and wanted to build a 4g63 after playing with them a little and because a good friend always wanted me to play with DSMs after seeing me build various other cars.

Anyway, here is the car. So far it's ran a best of 9.55 at 143. For the most part it runs 9.6-9.7 at 138-140.

my best 60 foot. If I can now add back the power I was making a few weeks ago, it should run around 9.20s This is a 1.37 short time vs 1.53 on the 9.55 run. Also the first time I carried the front tires for any distance.

Love the build, can't wait to see more. How difficult was it to drop a 4g63 in the car?

It wasn't too bad using the adapter to match up too the powerglide. If I did it over again, I'd move the engine back about 6". As it is, the mounts were extremely easy to make. They are from a mighty max abd I used aluminum pucks to space it properly.

Great build, you should put it in a BUILD thread now after creating a profile for your car. :thumb:

Far right, upper corner of the screen. Orange button that says create DSM profile.

I think I have to have more posts in order to do a build thread and to have a profile. I could be wrong

Yes as probationary members we cannot post in many of the forums.

That is a way cool build.. Maybe I will have to find a new home for my 2.4 stroker.
