Transmission bracket?

So, I have a small issue. Im looking for a transmission bracket. This one in partiuclar goes near the firewall. Not the mount, but the bracket for the mount.

My question is, Are their any other cars I can use to locate this part? I have been to several yards but my town is rather small and very low on 2g eclipse.

Or do I need to deal with a dealer? Sorry if this doesnt go here, It seemed like the most logical area.

I will apologize right now cause I have a very high chance of being wrong. I have a gst and know it's different from your rs, but when we first got this car 2 years ago I remember someone saying that dodge neon parts would work. I have never looked at or bought any neon parts, so I really don't know if there's any truth to it. I have noticed on ebay while looking for parts for my Equinox that sometimes it'll say the part also fits a Torrent. Maybe just do a quick ebay search for your part and see if another car name pops up.

I appreciate the reply. I have been to a few junk yards and looked at some neons but im not 100% on it if I could use that mount. Heck, Im not sure if their was a mount with all those hoses in the way.

I have also looked up on ebay with part numbers I have found but it seems like its a unicorn.

Is it the main mount you're looking for? Like the motor mounts, just this one is on the transmission?

Not the mount itself but the bracket that connects the rear mount to the transmission near the firewall.

I tried looking a little myself and no cigar. Can find them for autos or turbo manuals, but not for a non turbo manual

the neon part are compatible with the 420a motor which is the Chrysler produced engine,as for exterior and interior parts the Chrysler seebring are interchangeable.

check on the forum for someone that is parting out their dsm, the only cars i know the mounts change will be on the automatic eclipse.

Are you serious? I can use the automatic mount for the manual? Because I came across about 5.

I wasnt sure if I could use it.

Get ahold of Steve Miller at Miller Import Parts. He's a super guy and parts out these cars all the time and is a supporting vendor for this site. Can't hurt! I've done business with him a few times and had great success!

no, the manual and auto mounts on the transmissions are different.

Also, I see this part cross references Chrysler Sebring, Chryler Town & Country, Dodge Rams and Dodge Avengers. Know anything about that?

Im thinking about going to a junkyard tomorrow to ser if I can locate one.

I went ahead and called Miller Imports And spoke to Dave.
He knew

I was talking about, Thankfully as most stores didnt.

Anyways, He had the part and I got it for a whopping $45 shipping included.

I have a GST auto trans with all the mounts still on it. Not the ones that mount to the firewall. You can have em all for $10 you just pay shipping.

Thats a great price for that and I appreciate it but I dont think its gonna work for this car.

Yeah, finally! I found one at a yard and they wanted $35 for it and it was over and hour away. I tried to unbolt it but it was impossible plus it the exlipse was on top of another vehicle. I had to do this from the bottom. Yeah, I went ahead and got it from Steve instead LOL
