Lost of people have used them and most have issues and they said it was resolved, i got the torque solution mounts and they are exactly the same mounts, i did a small write up on them. I think they are all made by 1 company in china and shipped over, thats why they are not great quality items

I think it should be stated that though these fit just like OEM, they by in NO MEANS go in like OEM motor mounts. Since they're solid they have little to no play so lining them up correctly will take twice as long as OEM mounts. However, the benefits from these mounts is totally worth the hassle. This install is so much easier with an extra set of hands.

Well stiffer bushings are not any harder lining up. Its the skill level of the person installing them. No hassle, no complaints. i didnt even notice anymore vibrations. it makes my car launch a lot harder, and made shifting amazing. I also notice a handling benefit. No engine hop, and realized it stiffens up everything up front.

I literally just installed these yesterday. Tranny mount and engine mount were easy. Rear roll stop was a complete bi***. Front roll stop was straight up fabbed up wrong.

I replied in another thread about these, I'll post up pics when I get to my computer. All in all I recommend them still, seems some people have better luck than others when it comes to installing them.

Me and one friend got the 3 mounts in in an afternoon, taking our time and wrestling the engine.

Edit: You can see the difference right away. Miles off.

Here is the oem front roll stop. Lines up perfectly. This proves the front roll stop from avid to be incorrectly fabbed.

Ouch, that's way off. How did you end up getting it to line up? Did you force the engine forward or did you have to loosen bolts to use the hole slack of everything to meet up?

As i said up top i got torque soulutions and they are machined the exact same way, they had bigger holes then needed and were a mix of stainless and steel sleeves and sleeves were alot wider then the oem placement, ive heard this for avid aswell, ive had their front roll stop and that was a good fit but the hole size was off. 13mm instead of a 10mm or even 11m hole!

I really dont get how they confused hole sizes! Its engineering ffs they should be spot on!

I dont think avid had the front available when i bought mine. What you should do is, unbolt the crossmember. Put the main motor mount bolt in first. Then bolt everything down.
Doesn't change where the roll stop ends up relative to the bracket it bolts to. If I did that then the two mounting bolts wouldn't line up. The mount needs to be modified.

I still haven't got it mounted yet. I gave it to a buddy of mine to modify it so it matches the original OEM one. I'll post pics when I get it back from him.

I have these mounts and yes they are a complete bi*** to install. Transmission and drivers side, EASY. Once it comes down to the rear and front, it all goes south quick. @farmer890 You have to install that front mount first then the rear mount. After that you have to line up the bolt holes for the subframe. This requires some muscle and a long pry bar. Find somewhere to pry up against as hard as you can without breaking anything until the bolts for the subframe line up.

It's a pain to do but it can be done. Is it worth it? I don't think so. I'm seriously unmotivated to work on my car sometimes because of them and transmission drops become that much more annoying. I'd much rather have stock mounts with polly bushings installed in them.

Also there is a difference between the black steel ones and the chrome aluminum ones.

The bolt holes should probably be ported so the mount can be pushed back. Then everything should be bolted in loosely. then once all the bolts are in, tighten everything down. i think it will work.

i dont even have that mount installed on mine and i do just fine LOL

I don't think I have to do that. With my engine sitting the way it is now, with 3 mounts tight, the 4th mount sits perfectly in place with all 3 holes lining up. This is the OEM unit I'm referring to. When I use the avid one it's way off, so it doesn't matter if I use your method or mine. It just doesn't fit.

I thought about drilling holes in the cross member to make it work but I have faith my buddy will fix it up for me. Not a big deal, just thought I'd share.

Update: Front roll stop has been modified to match the oem specs. Fits perfectly now. It's tacked right now, my buddy is gonna finish welding it for me today. (I realize these are different from OPs, just wanted to post in case omeone in the future has the same issue as I did)
