Going to by a ECU with v3 installed. I know I'm looking for the big red ecm chip. But is there anything else specific I should look for. Does a certain area tend to burn up or anything?
 
Ya look at the capacitors and make sure they are good not oozing out. Ya chip should be red and say ecmlink in left corner and ecmtuning in bottom right. Looks like this
