The Beck/Arnley 038-0265 is packaged and badged as an OEM Hyundai/Kia lower timing belt cover with part number 2135033131. This is the same as the DSM 6-bolt lower timing covers, which is MD141454. It bolts up exactly as a DSM timing cover would.

I can't speak for the 038-0267, though.

Yeah Hyundai elantras and a couple other models came out with a 4gXX engines so some of the parts will cross over. Mid 90's cars. Some are the 1.8 liter styled 4g engines. 4g61, 4g62.
I ordered a CAS sensor for an elantra and when it came in it said right on it Mitsubishi. Used it in my car and worked perfect. Most of the time the Hyundai parts can be bought for less since its not a sought after car that has a strong following like dsm's. I mean how many people are restoring a mid 90's elentra? Would be cool to 4g63T one. Super sleeper grocery getter kid hauler.

That's the one's with the "thicker" 4gxx VC that people look for.

I uses to have 1 of those valve covers too. clean... but a pita to get it to seal

Just paid for the Beck Arnley (#0380265) Hyundai timing cover from RockAuto. $32.86 shipped. Thanks for the tip 19Eclipse90! Saved like 70 bucks with that little tid-bit.

The lower from the hyundai 1.8 and 1.6 are slightly shorter. Those engines have a shorter deck height so the head sits lower. You will likely not be able to get a few up the bolts to thread in to the head and timing tin. It will work, just won't be able to use all the mounting holes.

Yeah I ordered mine from rockauto.com a while back for a dohc 2.0 Hyundai sonata it works just like stock, the part number was 038-0265 beck/arnly for my 6 bolt.

I also noticed when I compared the hyundai cover to the stock mitsu cover, the hyundai version had no silver paint [it was a Grey color] so the colors might look weird if you use an oem mitsu silver top cover and the hyundai lower cover no one will really ever see it but one could order lower and upper covers at the same time.

Oh almost forgot to mention the beck/arnly ones had the gasket weather seal installed and ready to be bolted in.

I know this is a very old post,, but I was wondering if someone here have found the equivalent part number @ rockaouto or any other store for a 7bolt timing belt cover (the 3 parts one)...

I really need that set...

I dunno about 7-bolt covers, but I picked up one of the Beck/Arnley Hyundai covers from rockauto, and it fits my 6-bolt great. Pretty positive it isn't a Beck/Arnley repo part tho. OEM Hyundai decals on the part/bag.
