So my buddy has a 2gsx.. All it has is a big 16g fmic both upper n lower, upgraded exhaust, and all new internals. Boost is set at about 13 with 550 cc injectors.. This thing runs so rich it's pathetic.. At idle its running 43 psi for fuel. Sometimes when u get on it itll take off no hesitations, but most of the time you hit the gas and it basically floods the engine.. Motor still revs up but you can tell there's no power at all. At first I thought maf was screwed up. So bought new one, anyone have any ideas before I end up tearing the whole motor apart..

It originally had the safc on it but that made it hardly run at all

Then it's likely that the SAFC wasn't adjusted correctly.

How are you measuring the fuel pressure? The base pressure is 43.5 psi with the engine off, once the car is idling the pressure will read about 10 psi less due to the vacuum in the intake manifold.

With the SAFC and the correct fuel pressure the 550cc injectors would start out with about -15% fuel corrections across the RPM range and tune from there.
