Hi, I have a 91' Gst that I am building. I have the motor pulled and am going to be going with all forged internals. I will also be running a evo 16g turbo. I could use some advice on cat back exhausts to buy. I can barely find any for a 1g Fwd.

Any reasons for going forged? The stock internals are pretty stout and should be able to handle maxing out the 16g.

Thats true. Just didnt know if this was going to be a daily or not. Not that you couldnt daily on forged internals but the pistons are made out of a different alloy and whn cold can cause quite a bit of piston slap and wear. If it isnt a daily then eff it go big or go home!

Almost every time I see a post about FWD 1g exhaust this is what everyone recommends. It's a 3" mandrel bent s/s kit that Tim sells. (Punishment Racing). $340

There's also trubendz if your interested in adding your own muffler and want to spend a little less, but have someone to weld it together. They have options from 2 1/4 all the way to 3". S/S or aluminized. It's your call. I will most likely use this option, as every DSM has an Apexi N1 style muffler, and I'm not a fan of that style on 1g's.

Definitely watch out dealing with punishment racing. They haven't been responding to any emails or calls. Also they just deleted their facebook page.
