Curious to see if anyone else has gone this far with their 1g/2g throttle body....I had the rubber caps on it for a year or so but got tired of looking at those. Also going with a complete FIAV block plate. The holes are getting welded up and then the whole thing is getting painted.

Any pictures of the finished product? Looks different for sure.

Nice the screws on my throttle body we totally siezed so I ended up just biting the bullet and getting an S90 70mm.

Hope you like the s90. Its something I'm considering

The only thing I had an issue with was the lower stud the first couple of threads were stripped. I used a tap to clean everything up. I am also going to use a slightly longer bolt to replace it just to be on the safe side. The TPS fit like a glove. I ported the intake manifold to match the throttle body last night. If you go this route i would definitely buy a good grinding bit. The grinding stones will take you a lifetime.

Was it the stock intake manifold? What did you get it to in mm?

I port matched it to the TB. 70mm. The only issue i ran into was the throttle position sensor hitting the stock fuel rail. I shaved the rail down for it to clear and it was good to go. I didnt have any issues with the throttle cable. So far so good
I will try to post some pics for reference.

Thanks. I have a 90 and a aeromotive fuel rail so I am looking at going this way

I havent test fit any other fuel rail options but i am interested to see what works with the stock intake manifold s90 tb route.
