Thanks! It's a 2.0L with Wiseco 10.5:1 HD's, Manley turbo-tuff I beams, Kiggly girdle, etc...Nice, what's in the shortblock?
Most definitelyLooking good nice to have some sounds too.
Yes they are.Are those off the shelf pistons and rods? (10.5:1 Wiseco's and Turbo Tuff's), if so care to share the part #'s?
Sure will. I used his head on my Evo as well. You're going to love that curt brown head.
Yes I did. Fitment is perfect!I looked at those fuel rails this morning. Did you get the -8AN feed / -6AN return? If so how's the fitment?
Want some more practice welding your AL skills? I need a bung for my IAT welded on the TB elbow of my SSAC kit. I'd pay you for your time..
Also, build looks incredible. This thing is going to be a monster when you're done.
FIC injectors in one of our rails!?! Blasphemy. Looks good, though.
Dang, balling out. What's your capacity with that pan?
Installing that pan this weekend! Already put in Jeff Bush transfer gears. Did you upgrade yours? I have a couple spare sets to sell you if you kept stock ones, for when you inevitably brake a tooth or two off
I just recently got the urge to get back into DSMs and actually came across 2 that a friend of mine had and lost interest in. Needless to say I am now the proud owner of a 92 5spd awd tsi as well as a 91 auto awd tsi (Both needing a lot of work). You're build is exactly what I have planned for my 1gb (cleanliness wise anyway. Leaving the fully built part for the auto) Awesome job, keep up the good work sir.
That is hopefully the plan once I get further along into the builds.Thank you!
And very cool! You should start a build thread for them
