In the market for a turbo for my 2G fwd,and wanted to know whats a good turbo choice for 350-400hp.

Evo3 16g or td05 20g. Or if u can get a good deal on an fp68hta still. These would need an install kit if u still have the stock t25.

Past that, idk if a super t28 would get u there quite, or if u could find one for a worthwhile price.

Maintwnance and supporting mods are the absolute first thing you should do before thinking of a bigger/more capable turbo.

You should fill out your profile with existing items or mods done, so we can give you a better suggestion.

I would get a fp 68hta or 20g. What's your goals/plans for the car? How will it be used? If your going bigger with power I would invest in a good lsd and sticky tires :) also fill out your profile so we know what else your working with. What's your plans for fuel and tuning?

Better yet has he done the equal length half shaft mod? on my laser with a 16g set at 18psi that was the single biggest improvement I ever made to it, it stopped trying to pull me into traffic or off the road when I stomped on the gas in a low gear. Turbo choice? I'd suggest a 16g variant for 350, 20g/68hta for 400+ I have the tdo6 68hta and I'm actually getting rid of it for a 16g, top end is nice but I'm not a big fan of running my car near redline on a daily basis.

I'm actually going to say look into a 50 trim. It'll get you to your goal easy on pump gas. I use to own a 2g fwd and it was a blast to drive with a 50 trim. Like others have said if you're looking to make that power to the wheels it might be tough with a 16g on pump gas.

Here's a baby rant

If you have to ask what turbo, I have to ask if you have ever changed a timing belt by yourself

If you have done your own timing belt I have to ask what fuel pump and injectors you have

If you have done the fuel system I have to ask what sort of engine management system you are using

Once you do all of those mods I can tell you exactly what turbo you want.
