Possible MAF sensor problem..help?

Think my MaF(Mass Air Flow) sensor is bad.. When it's plugged in the car starts and dies right away..and when I unplug it it idles fine but when I rev it it only revs to about 3000-4000 rpm before sputtering. I hooked up a code scanner and came up with
P0335
P0110
P0100
P0105 codes
Before I go out and but a new MAF for 130$ I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?...
I got a 1998 Eclipse GST btw
 
Well it may be and probably is the MAF but I'd first check to make sure you have 5v on pin 1 (green/yellow) when unplugged and key on. Then make sure pin 5 is connected to ground (key off) only when the ECU is plugged in (read "important note" here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/oxygen-sensor-wiring.244376/ - ie. unplug ECU and it should no longer be connected to ground).

Also have you cleared the codes to see if they come back?

And why are you getting the CPS code (P0335)? Engine will not run right, usually not at all, with it. Something's not right there.
 
That's so funny you say that cuz I looked at the blue and yellow wire at its been soldered with and doesn't look too good.. I'm putting a volt meter on it today.. What volts should it be at?

And the 0335 idk but I cleared the codes and checked them again when cel came on and it went away.. I have a six bolt engine and a cat delete on the exhaust

Assuming you still have the 98 MAF and ECU, the blue/yellow is the volume air flow sensor signal which is a square wave and should read an average in the 2.2-3.2v range when engine running and it's connected. Never measured it when disconnected with key on but I'd suspect around 5v.

Don't worry about the 0335 then since it didn't come back (it's probably old).
