Finally Uncle Sam Season is here. I'm planning on going with a 2.0 long rod build with Manley I beams and Wiseco 1400HD custom 10.5:1 pistons. I plan on dropping off my block to a local machine shop to see what overbore I need to go with before I order my pistons. Also going to have them check the line bore with the ARP main studs and Kiggly main girdle installed.

Dropped off my block, crank, and head at Fowler Performance on Monday. waiting to hear from them whether my crankshaft is any good or not, and what the damage is going to be for the machine work.

Ported my Evo 3 16G out last night. I was a little hesitant to do so at first, but once I started I felt a lot better about it. Machine shop called and said I need to go .020 overbore on the block. The line-hone was off after studs and girdle were installed so they are going to correct that and deck the block. Still waiting to hear back about the crank and head.

Parts are still trickling in while I keep on making this a bigger project than I first told myself. I removed my rear bumper cover to replace the license plate light bracket, and fix a little surface rust. After many bolts snapped off due to the crap they spray on the roads, I found out the salt ate at the crash beam pretty bad over the years too. I started to remove the front cover last night and I'm sure it will turn out the same. I hate drilling out broken bolts :ohdamn::ohdamn::ohdamn:.

Just received my pistons from Wiseco. Dropped them off at the machine shop today so they can get moving on the boring and honing the cylinders.

This car is off to the scrap yard here soon after I get some parts off of it that I need. Going to miss her, but I bought a Black Cherry and silver 91 TSI AWD shell. It needs a lot of body work and a paint job, but I've always wanted an AWD.
