I'm 6'0 and my head hit. I liked to sit kinda close so I didn't have to worry about really stretching my foot when shifting. With a helmet on I had my head tilted a bit.

I just put in some Kirkey's a couple weeks ago and made custom brackets and it is super nice to be able to sit straight up and not hit my head.

But like everybody else said, just a small tilt of the head or slouching a little bit isn't a big deal.

so on this subject... do you guys know if putting a spacer on the factory steering wheel in a 2g will add a bit more knee room?

I am 6'6" and I fit in the car but the space between my knees and the wheel is very limited. I think that either telescoping the wheel towards the driver would help a bit or the obvious solution of changing the school bus wheel to an aftermarket 12" wheel would do it.

The dellemma is that I dont want to lose my airbag's by putting in the aftermarket wheel (although I have never had to use one)

what are your thoughts on this? I tried searching but no one seemed to have tackled this issue before (strange)?

i guess even some different seats would help lower us down a bit and give a little more room?

I am 6'4 1/2, 300 lbs, and I fit fine. I have the seat all the way back with a slight gangster lean but it works. But if there is a bump on the road, my head does knock on the ceiling :banghead:

I'm 6'3 and I fit just fine. Seat is almost all the way back and I lean back enough where I can still grab the shifter fine.

i'm 6'1" and i fit fine as well.

i mean unless you're driving a tomato can, you can fit in any car.

but i do feel sorry for the people behind me...thats why i love me a 2 door convertible LOL

Im 6.4" and i just slam the seat all the way back with small lean. I have hit my head on the ceiling maybe once.

im 6 flat and in my 1 G i just put my seat all the way back and rest my knee on the sides of foot wells, ends up being comfortable and works well for heel toe since my heel is always in the gas area.

I'm 6'6 240 pound's, and yes right knee is a little tight, and I can't keep my sun glasses on my head. but it works fine and it's like that in any thing I drive.
But this thread did get me thinking of modifying my seat brackets, that would be easy.

I'm 6'1" and have about an inch between my head and the headliner. With the seat all the way back, my knees are fairly comfortable. The seats make up for it ;)

I'm not 100% sure but I think my 99 Spyder GST (with leather) has a seat bottom height adjustment. My seats are SO LOW that I get a little embarrassed, feeling like I'm trying to look like I'm in some low slung exotic. Anyway, 5' 11" and lots of room with the seats adjusted all the way down. Or just get a Spyder - unlimited headroom!

Haha, I have a spyder, I don't put the top down too often though. I have enough headroom and leg room, it's not very comfortable though because the seat is all the way back and lowered down as far as possible, also leaned back to the rear seat, I am 6'3" but love this car.

6"4, 220lbs. Glad I have a sunroof with the shade removed. I usually lean back a little bit. Cause if you sit straight up, I barely touch, but the issue is vision out the windshield. You have to be down a little bit to see perfectly. The only complaint is coming to lights and I have to duck down and look up to see it. Again, its rare..but its the only issue I have.
Haha hit this one on the head! I'm 6'6" it's a struggle but you make it work LOL. Ducking down for street lights is a pain. I'm spoiled with my f250 now, tons of room but I still like climbing is the Dsm!

I am 6'4" and I have long legs. It's never been an issue with my 1G (turbo). My wife used to have a 2G (automatic, NA), and I did not fit in that thing AT ALL. It was like sitting on one of those Squatty Potties. I don't know if there was more leg room in the manuals, but if your pants are 32 x 36 you don't want a 2G with an automatic tranny.
